Experiment on gaining effect of corn silage feeding cattle

Abstract: 20 hybrid cattle aged between16 and 18 month were selected and randomly divided into two groups, each group contain 10 cattle, whole plant corn silage and corn straw silage of removing the ear were fed for comparing and analyzing. Average daily gaining increased 1.41 kg for each cattle by feeding whole plant corn silage, while average daily gaining increased 1.06 kg by feeding corn straw silage of removing the ear, 0.35 kg more than by feeding corn straw silage of removing the ear. There is the significantly difference (P < 0.05) between them. Net benefits of 360 Yuan for each cattle increased. The difference is significant (P < 0.05).
